Today’s topic is “plans/dreams/goals,” that I have. People who know me personally also know that I can go on for days, hell even months explaining my dreams. However, I am learning to be more concise in life. With that said, I’ll keep it short and super sweet.
One short term goal that I currently have is to remain committed to my newfound plant-based diet aka being vegan. I started back in July and have honestly done an amazing job thus far. The only thing that I miss about life pre-veganism is eggs and cheese which I will admit I have snuck a few times. I’m doing way better as of recently though.
Another short term goal is to remain committed for the next 21 days to a fitness class I recently signed up for. Today was my first day and let me tell y’all that workout kicked my ass. But, I think I did damn good for the first day.
In terms of plans and dreams, I plan on starting my GRE prep again in order to follow my dreams of starting grad school next fall. I’m tired of holding myself back but I am also appreciate of the time that I’ve given myself to really think about what it is that I want in life. Another dream I have is to have a writing job before the end of this year, it can be remote or in person but no matter what I want to work in the field that I am passionate about sooner rather than later.
